Why submit?

• Publication with registered ISSN: (Library of Congress designation for a serial publication)
• $25 bucks for accepted stories, which ranges from ½ a cent for a 5,000 word story to .25 cents for a 100-word story. We hope to raise these rates over time.
• Exposure (Not the trench coat kind)
• A free Necrotic Tissue T-Shirt for all accepted works (It sounds too crazy to be true, but it is. Are these people made of money?? Who else gives away a free T-Shirt??)
• Personal responses will be sent for all submission with some feedback on why, if not accepted.

The Mechanics:

• All stories must be pasted into the body of an email sent to:  editor@necrotictissue.com - Absolutely no attachments, keep your infections to yourselves
• In the Subject line, type the word Submission, then your story title
• Cover letters are not necessary, but please include all of your contact information in the body of the email (Full name, address, email) as well as your most recent or favorite writing credits. If you have never been published, please tell us, we love to feature new writers when possible.
• No snail mail, we only accept email submissions
• Submissions will only be accepted during listed times.
• Stories which don’t follow these rules will be deleted without acknowledgment

When to submit:

• We have four submissions periods a year: January, April, July & October.
• We Publish on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st & October 1st.

Registration is on the home page. When you first register, you will be sent to a page where you can download the most current issue. From then on, you will be sent an email with the link to a webpage where you can download either the high or low-resolution PDF.
Our response time goal is 4 weeks. For our first issue we had 110 submissions with an average response time of 12 days. We haven't increased our "Staph", so if the number of submission increases, we will slow down.
