Publisher: R. Scott McCoy, a Corporate Suit who loves writing almost as much as he loves reading. Created the ezine to help new and experienced writers publish quality Horror.

A word from Scott: I’ve had both fiction and non-fiction published in paying markets and I definitely prefer writing fiction. Non-fiction generally pays more and is easier to get published, but it isn’t as rewarding or fun. I also have a big old stack of rejections slips, most of them form letters. The few tidbits of actual feedback I’ve received were a tremendous help. I wanted to create a publication that will work with writers to improve their stories if they were close, but not quite there.

I am more than happy to accept completed works of high quality horror, but most writers can use some feedback, even if it is all positive. For those writers that are close but not there yet, we want to help. If your stuff is perfect, every story you write gets published instantly, and you are actively sought after by dozens of magazines, we are probably not the ezine for you.

Head Editor: A published, Graduate Student for life, who simply must write, and tolerates reading.

A word from H.E.: Is it wrong to want to see well done horror take over the schlock we watch now; to revive Night Gallery, Tales from the Dark Side and Crypt Tales?

Assistant Editor Words: For my part, I sell books. I write slipstream--a blend of horror, gothic, science fiction, and fantasy. I write when I cannot bear the itch in my
fingers. On my fortieth birthday, I was shocked to find myself still alive.
I am afraid of heights, big bugs, and Normal, Illinois.

"Though in many of its aspects this visible world seems formed in love, the
invisible spheres were formed in fright.”

Web Demigod: A technical mastermind trapped in a cube farm. He is in charge of both web page creation/maintenance, but also formatting and production of the ezine in PDF. Claims Horror is not his genre, but has a natural talent for it (denial is not a river in Egypt).

More than a few words from the Webmaster: It's true, horror is not my thing. Give me a good tech manual to pour over and I'm happy. There is something comforting in seeing numbers and schematics organized in logical and detailed glory. Of course, anyone who has ever perused the take-apart manual for a G4 Apple iBook, knows what true horror is.

Photodude: ShellWerks / Todd Geiger. Mad fishin’, drink slingin’, overly educated photojournalist.

A word from Todd: If it’s dead, I’ll shoot it. Be kind to turtles.

Sound Design: Mark Bradley, a twenty-year professional, long hair.

A word from Mark: I slaved day and night on these tracks and all I got was a stinkin’ sweatshirt.

Minions: Behold. Our magnificent Minion Army, watch it grow.
